Mr. Betigiri, a parent of our school, conducted a session on Rhythmic Breathing on two different days in the month of August to give our students a better understanding of the breathing exercises conducted every morning over the intercom during the assembly. They were made to understand the following:
• Breathing deeply and correctly should be made a habit.
• It results in us feeling happier and more relaxed.
• It also ensures that our body is receiving as much oxygen as it needs.
A powerpoint presentation was shown and a demonstration of push-ups and frog jump was conducted for the students of class two. This was done to put forth that the exercises can be carried forth with ease for a longer stretch of time with correct breathing.
