Counselling

Two full time Counsellors, one each in the Junior and Secondary School, attend to the special needs of every age group of students. Counselling includes individual sessions with students as well as group sessions. Students of the Junior School also have a Value Education period per week and the Counsellor has interactive classroom sessions with the children. Career Guidance for the students of Std. 10 is also touched upon. A close bond has been formed between the students and the Counsellors and this is a fulfilling aspect of the school culture.

In June 2007, we started a Special Education Cell in the Junior School to address the needs of children who require special help during school hours. A dedicated Educator takes care of these needs. The teachers too, are part of the ‘Resource Room' initiative and we find that we are able to make a difference to students who require specific short-term help.
